I sort of fell into payroll when I joined my daughter’s pre-school committee. They needed someone to complete payroll and so I learned the old fashioned manual way with tables and manual submissions. Since then payroll has changed a lot. I have seen the implementation of RTI, Auto enrolment and the dreaded furlough. I’ve always embraced the changes as they’ve happened and enjoy the challenges that they can sometimes bring. I have worked in payroll for the last 20 years and worked my way up to Payroll Manager which enables me to help others to provide the best service. When I’m not thinking about and completing payroll, I love walking, reading and spending time with my family, especially my two granddaughters.
